Who can apply for academic recognition through SKVC?

The Study Quality Assessment Center (SKVC) carries out academic recognition from 2024. June 15 only in certain cases. Recognition is performed if:

• You are a citizen of a member state of the European Union (EU) or a state of the European Economic Area (EEA) or a member of his family;
• You are a foreigner of Lithuanian origin;
• You are an asylum seeker;
• You have a temporary or permanent residence permit in Lithuania.

In all other cases, we recommend applying directly to the relevant institution for academic recognition:

• school - if you intend to learn or study;
• employer - if you want to get a job;
• the institution performing the recognition of a regulated profession - if you plan to work in a regulated professional activity.
